William Moner, the director of Elon’s Historic Neighborhood asked me to design a new logo for the neighborhood. As a resident of the Historic Neighborhood for two years, this was an honor. The logo design features an acorn along with a Phoenix and an open book. Seeing this logo design begin as small sketches to watching it transform into t-shirt designs and letterheads and other surface designs is one of my favorite aspects of being a graphic designer.  

 

Bringing this logo design to life with a bold color palette and highlighting elements of Elon's brand identity was an amazing experience.
